Shri Gayatri Trading

Shri Gayatri Trading is located on the second floor of the Nakhoda building. It is shop number 16. To get to us, you have to walk up the stairs which can be a bit tiring in the Mumbai humidity. We are situated right near the Phydonie Police Station in Masjid Bunder West. This whole area is always packed with people, handcarts, and vehicles moving goods around. The noise from the street is constant and you can hear the shouting of the loaders and the honking of the trucks all day long. Our office is a practical space where we handle our trading work. It is not a fancy place with big decorations. We have some old wooden desks and chairs that have seen better days. The walls have a few marks here and there, and the lighting is just regular tube lights. Sometimes the tea boy from downstairs brings us chai in small glasses, which is a nice break. We usually keep the windows closed to keep the dust out, but the heat still finds its way in. It is a very busy part of the city, so there is never a dull moment. Most people who visit us are used to the chaos of Masjid Bunder. We have been in this spot for quite some time now and everyone around knows us. It’s just a simple workplace where we get through the daily tasks and manage our business without any extra fuss.
