Shri Gajanan Contructins

Our office is Room No. 634 in Sector-8 of Kopar-Khairane. It’s a busy part of Navi-Mumbai, so there is always noise from the street coming through the windows. The room isn't very large, but we’ve managed to fit everything we need for our construction work in there. There are stacks of paper on almost every flat surface, mostly plans and government forms. Being in Navi-Mumbai, we are always on the move, but this room is where the planning happens. People are constantly coming in and out, usually with dust on their boots from one of the sites. We don't have fancy leather chairs or a receptionist; you just walk in and talk to whoever is behind the desk. The Sector-8 area is full of energy, and we are right in the thick of it. Sometimes the lift in the building doesn't work, so we end up taking the stairs a lot. It keeps us fit, I guess. We spend a lot of time on our mobile phones because that is how construction gets done these days. It can get a bit chaotic when we are trying to coordinate several jobs at once, but we manage. We’ve been here in Kopar-Khairane for a while, and the local chai wallah knows our order by heart. It’s a basic, honest way to run a business, just focusing on the work and the buildings we are helping to put up in our local area.
