Our place is on the third floor of the Panditalay Building, which sits on Chunam Lane right off Lamington Road. It’s one of those old buildings where the stairs are narrow and the walls have seen a lot of history. Being on the third floor means we get a little bit of a breeze if we leave the windows open, though you mostly just get the noise from the market below. Lamington Road is always a chaotic place, but Chunam Lane is a tiny bit quieter if you catch it at the right time. We’ve squeezed ourselves into this space and filled it with whatever we need to keep the business going. There are boxes stacked in the corners and files piled up on the desks. It’s definitely not a corporate office. We usually have a bit of a mess going on because we are always in the middle of three things at once. We don't have a lot of people working here, so everyone ends up doing a bit of everything, from answering the phone to packing up parts. The building doesn't have a fancy lobby or anything, you just walk up the stairs and find us. It's a humble spot, but it works for us. We spend our days mostly looking at screens or checking through inventory lists. Sometimes the rain leaks in a bit near the window, but we just put a bucket down and keep moving. It's just a regular day-to-day life here in the heart of the electronics district.
