Shrestha Treks

You can find us over at Kandivali West, specifically at Gala No 10 B on Siding Road in Tambacoo Galli 6. The area is quite industrial and busy, with a lot of warehouses and trucks moving around all day long. Shrestha Treks isn't your typical travel agency because we focus more on the outdoors and getting people out into the hills. Our space is more like a workspace than a fancy office, filled with gear, some old trekking poles, and plenty of maps spread out over the tables. It’s often dusty because of the road outside, and the noise of the traffic is always there in the background. We spend a lot of our time talking to guides and checking on weather reports for different routes. It’s not always glamorous work, especially when we have to deal with cancellations or gear that needs repairing. We don't really have a receptionist or anything, so if the phone rings, whoever is closest just picks it up. People who come to find us usually know what they are looking for and don’t mind the rough feel of the office. We just try to give them the honest details about what the trails are like and what they need to carry. It’s a bit of a scramble sometimes getting everything packed and ready, but we’ve been doing this from this little gala for a while now. We just focus on the actual trekking side of things.
