Shree Vinayak Electricals

Our shop, Shree Vinayak Electricals, is tucked away on the first floor of the Ashoka Shopping Center. If you've ever been near G.T. Hospital on L.T. Road, you know how crazy the traffic and the crowds can get. It’s always moving. We are at Office No. 176. It’s not the biggest space, but we pack it full of all the electrical parts and supplies people are looking for. Usually, it’s a mix of electricians coming in for specific bits and local residents who just need a new switch or a wire fixed. The building itself has been around for a while, so it has that old Mumbai feel to it. We spend a lot of time answering the phone and checking the shelves. Sometimes it feels like we’re playing a game of Tetris with the boxes. Since we're near the hospital, the area is always loud, but you get used to the sirens and the honking after a week. We don’t do anything fancy here. We just show up, open the shutters, and help whoever comes in. It’s a simple way to run a business. We like being in this part of town because everything you need is just a short walk away. Even though the stairs up to the first floor can be a bit of a climb when you’re carrying heavy boxes, we don't mind. It’s just part of the daily routine for us. We just keep things simple and try to be helpful.
