Shree Shyam Balaji Agrovet Private Limited

Our office is in the basement of Sukh Sagar on Nyaymurti Sitaram Patkar Marg. It’s right there near Chowpatty and Grant Road. It is a busy part of Mumbai, far away from the green fields where the products actually come from. Being in a basement means we don’t get much natural light, but we are used to it. The sounds of the city and the traffic on the street are always in the background. We handle the agrovet side of things, dealing with supplies and logistics. It’s a bit cramped with all the files and samples lying around. People come in and out all day. We aren't a big polished firm. The walls could use a fresh coat of paint and the furniture is old. We focus on getting things shipped and making sure the accounts are right. It’s a lot of phone calls and ledger entries. We started this because there was a need for a reliable link between the suppliers and the farmers. Even though we are in the middle of a concrete jungle like Grant Road, our talk is always about the land and the animals. We eat our lunch at our desks most days. It’s a honest living. We don't put on any acts here. It’s just a group of people working hard in a small basement office to keep the supply chain moving. We've been here for a while and the neighbors know us.
