Shree Momai Auto Parts

Shree Momai Auto Parts is located at Shop 8 in Chotu Motu Chawl, Sector-44C, on Kedarmal Road in Malad East. It is a small space, but we manage to fit thousands of different parts inside. If you need a specific cable for an old scooter or a filter for a car, we probably have it buried somewhere in the back. My partner and I spend most of our time looking through catalogs or climbing over boxes to find what a customer needs. The shop isn't very tidy because we are always in the middle of unpacking something or helping someone fix a small part. We don't have a fancy waiting area, just a wooden stool near the entrance. The chawl is a busy place with lots of kids playing and neighbors talking, so there is always some noise in the background. We’ve been here for a good number of years now and have seen many other shops come and go. Our customers are mostly local mechanics and people from the neighborhood who like to do their own repairs. We don't do any big promotions. We just try to be helpful when someone comes in with a broken part and no idea how to fix it. It’s a messy job sometimes, with oil and grease everywhere, but we enjoy the work. It feels good to help someone get their vehicle back on the road.
