Maker Bhavan No. 1 is where you can find Shree Kamal Estates Pvt Ltd. It’s a solid, older building in a part of town that’s always moving. Our office is just a regular room with some desks and a lot of filing cabinets. We’ve been here for quite a while now. The elevators can be a bit slow in the mornings, so we usually see the same group of people waiting in the lobby every day. It’s a bit of a routine. Inside, the space is functional. We have some calendars on the wall and a clock that ticks a little too loudly when it’s quiet. We don't really do much in the way of decorating. It’s more about having a place to sit and get the work done. The windows look out onto other buildings, and you can hear the city life going on below. We drink a lot of tea while we go through our daily tasks. Sometimes it gets a bit crowded when we have a few people over, but we manage. The staff here has been together for a long time, so we know how to work around each other. We don't have any big slogans or mission posters. We just come in, handle the paperwork, and go about our business. It’s a very standard office life in Mumbai, and we’re quite comfortable with that. Nothing fancy, just us at Maker Bhavan.
