Our shop is over in New Bombay, specifically in Sector 8B of the CBD area. If you find Plot 3 and look for the Chandrakiran building, that’s where you’ll find us at number 11. Forging is heavy work, so it isn’t always the cleanest job in the world, but we take pride in getting the metal shaped right. We’ve been at this for a long time now. The heat from the machines can get pretty intense during the summer months, but that’s just part of the daily routine for us. We aren’t a giant factory with thousands of workers, we’re more of a tight-knit group that knows how to handle the hammers and the presses. The area around CBD has grown so much since we first set up here. It used to be much quieter, but now there’s a lot more traffic and people moving around. We just keep our heads down and focus on the orders that come in. Most of our days are spent checking measurements and making sure the forgings meet the specs. It’s loud, it’s hot, and it’s hard work, but it’s what we do. We don’t spend much time on fancy decorations or anything like that because the work happens on the floor. If you drop by, you’ll probably see us covered in a bit of dust, just working through the pile of tasks we have for the week.
