Shree Ganesh Auto Stores is down at number 73 in the Paydhmi area near Kala Ghoda. It’s an old part of the city with a lot of history and narrow streets. We have been working out of this small space for a long time. The street is usually full of parked cars and people walking through to get to other parts of the district. It’s not the easiest place to park, but people still manage to find us. We deal with all sorts of auto parts and bits for different machines. It gets a bit dusty inside with all the stock, but we know where everything is kept. Kala Ghoda is a famous spot, so telling people the address is usually easy enough. We see a lot of mechanics and regular owners coming through our doors every day. Sometimes we stay open a bit later if there is work left to do. It’s a simple life here. We don't use any fancy computers for everything; sometimes a pen and paper are just faster. The shop has seen a lot of changes in the neighborhood over the years. Buildings go up and stores change, but we are still here at number 73. It’s just how we do things. Not much fuss, just keeping the shelves filled and talking to the customers who come in.
