Shree Gajanan Pipe Fittings

Down in the Second Kumbharwada Lane, you’ll find Shree Gajanan Pipe Fittings at Shop No. 2. We are part of Building No. 78/84. This lane is famous for being narrow and crowded with all sorts of hardware shops. There’s a constant sound of metal clanging and people shouting out orders. Our shop is filled with pipes, joints, and all kinds of small fittings that go into plumbing. It’s dusty work and there’s always something that needs to be sorted through. We spend our mornings checking the stock against some handwritten lists. The space is tight, so we have to use every inch of the walls to store things. If you come by, you’ll likely see us searching for a specific size of elbow or tee for a customer. It’s a busy neighborhood and everyone knows everyone else’s business. We’ve been in this building for quite some time now. The light isn't always great in the back of the shop, but we know where everything is by touch almost. It’s not the kind of place you come for a chat, though we do end up talking about the weather or the traffic in the lane quite a bit. It’s just a regular plumbing supply spot. We keep things moving and try to stay organized, even when it feels like a mess of metal pipes and boxes everywhere. That's just the way things are in Kumbharwada, I suppose. We stay busy from when the morning sun hits the lane.
