We have been here at 135 Nanu Bhai Desai Road for a really long time now. If you ever walk down 4th Khetwadi in Girgaon, you will see our place tucked into the street. It is an old part of the city and things get pretty busy outside our front doors every single day. Most of us here have spent years working with the same herbs and traditional recipes. We don't really do things the fancy way around here. It is more about getting the mixtures right and making sure everything is done the way it was taught to us by the people who were here before. Sometimes the office gets a bit cramped with all the papers and jars, but that is just how it is. People know us in this neighborhood. We see the same faces every morning when we open up. It is not some big glass building; it is just a workspace where we try to keep the old ways alive. Most of the staff live nearby or take the train in. We spend a lot of time talking about the quality of the raw materials we get. If the roots aren't good, the batch isn't good. It is simple math really. We just keep our heads down and do the work. The fans hum all day and there is always a faint smell of dried plants in the air. We aren't trying to change the world overnight, just making sure the medicine is right.
