Our place is at Plot No. 55, right on the corner of Road No. 15 and 17 in the MIDC area of Andheri East. If you know Mumbai, you know that MIDC is a massive zone filled with all kinds of businesses. It’s not the prettiest place to work, but it’s very convenient for logistics. We’ve been based here for many years. Our building is a standard industrial plot. We use most of the space for the jewelry workshop. It’s a lot of manual labor, with people sitting at benches and working on different pieces. We don't have any big corporate offices or fancy lounges. The desks are a bit old, and the files are usually piled up. We spend most of our time dealing with orders and making sure the production is on schedule. The traffic on Road No. 15 can get really backed up in the evenings, so we usually stay a bit late to let it clear out. We drink a lot of chai and talk about the work. It’s a very relaxed atmosphere in terms of how we act, but we take the jewelry seriously. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a big office. We just focus on the daily tasks and keeping the shop running smoothly. It’s just a regular work life for us in Andheri. We keep our tools sharp and our heads down until the day is over.
