We've been at Shop No 4 in the Haji Miran Building for a while now. If you're around Santacruz East, you probably know the spot. It's not a huge place, but we keep busy with all sorts of vehicle work. People stop by when their bike or car is making a weird noise or just needs a quick look. We deal with the usual stuff like oil changes and fixing parts that wear out over time. It can get pretty crowded on the street outside, so things move at their own pace here. Sometimes we have the parts on the shelf and other times we have to wait for a delivery to show up. Most of the folks who come in live nearby and just want their transport back on the road without too much fuss. We try to be straight with people about how long a job will take. The shop is a bit dusty, which is normal for an auto place. We spend most of the day with grease on our hands. It's just honest work, really. Santacruz East is a busy area, so there's always someone needing help with their wheels. We don't have a fancy waiting room or anything like that. People usually just hang out nearby or come back later in the afternoon. It’s a simple setup where we focus on getting the engines running right. That’s basically what goes on here every day. We’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit, but there are always cars needing a fix.
