You can find us at B/006 in Ramji House, tucked away in Jambulwadi near Kalbadevi Road. SHITAL ELECTRIC CO. is a local spot that’s been part of this neighborhood's fabric for a while. The building is old, and the hallways are narrow, but it’s home for us. We deal with all sorts of electrical components, and the space is mostly taken up by shelves and cupboards. It's often a bit cramped in the office, especially when a new shipment arrives and we have to find room for all the new boxes. The walls are a bit faded, and the floor has some scuff marks from all the feet passing through over the years. Kalbadevi Road is always bustling, and the sounds of horns and shouting vendors drift in through our window. We don't have a big sign outside, just a small one that's been there since we opened. Sometimes the power goes out in the afternoon, and we just sit and wait for it to come back while we talk about the news. We aren't trying to be anything we're not. We just sell switches, wires, and other bits to whoever needs them. Most of our day is spent looking through ledgers or checking the inventory on the high shelves.
