We are on the 5th floor of the Comet Building, which is right opposite the Bandra Talao on Station Road. Being in Bandra West, especially near the station, means it is always loud and crowded outside. Mumbai 400050 is a place that never really stops moving. From our office upstairs, we can look out toward the water of the Talao, but mostly we are looking at blueprints and files. We are a firm that deals with the associate side of things, handling projects and consultations. The elevator in the building is usually busy, and there is a lot of foot traffic on Station Road below. We have been in this spot for a while now. The office is full of books, rolls of paper, and the usual mess that comes with a busy work life. It isn't a silent place to work; there is always someone talking or a printer going off. We spend a lot of time discussing details and making sure the plans match up with what is happening on the ground. It is honest work. We do not spend much time on fancy decorations for ourselves; we just focus on the projects we have on our desks. Whether it is a sunny day or during the monsoons, we are here in the Comet Building getting things sorted out. It is just the way we have always done things here in Bandra.
