Shell & Pearl Ceramics Ltd is based in Navi Mumbai. Our office is up on the fourth floor, room 401, of the Maharaja Palace building. It is located at Plot No-G-37/38 in Sector-20, CBD Belapur. Working in the ceramics industry means we deal with a lot of heavy materials and specific designs. CBD Belapur is a pretty active hub, so there is always a lot of movement outside. We spend most of our time coordinating shipments and looking at different samples. The office isn't overly large, but it fits our needs for the daily administrative work. Ceramics is a competitive field and we have to keep an eye on what is happening in the market constantly. We talk to vendors and customers all day long. Sometimes the lifts in the building are slow, which can be annoying when you’re in a rush. But the location is convenient for most of the staff. We’ve been here for some time and have gotten to know the other businesses in the building too. It’s a standard office setup where we manage the business side of things. We aren't trying to be anything we’re not. We just focus on getting the ceramic products where they need to go and making sure the orders are correct. It’s a lot of staring at spreadsheets and talking on the phone. We just try to keep things organized and steady throughout the week. It's a lot of mundane tasks that keep the business going.
