Shapoorji Pallonji Mideast L.L.C

This is the life of a civil engineer working for Shapoorji Pallonji Mideast L.L.C right in the heart of Mumbai. If you know anything about this city, you know it never really stops moving. We are constantly out on sites or sitting at a cluttered desk trying to figure out the next step for a project. Mumbai is a place where you are always fighting the traffic and the rain, but that is just part of the job. There isn't much room for being fancy here. We wear boots that are usually covered in some kind of dust or mud. The office is really just a place to drop off papers and grab a quick cup of tea before heading back out. We don’t have any polished brochures or big mission statements hanging up. We just look at the plans and try to make sure everything is built the way it is supposed to be. It is a lot of long hours and sometimes a bit of frustration when things don’t go exactly to plan. But we are used to it. The city has a way of making you work hard whether you want to or not. We don’t try to make it sound like something more than it is. It is just hard work, day in and day out, in a city that is always building something new. India is growing fast, and we are just here doing our small part in Mumbai.
