Shapoorji Pallonji & Co. Ltd.

You can find us on the 12th floor of the Silicon Tower in Vashi. It’s a big building in Sector 30-A. Shapoorji Pallonji & Co. Ltd. uses this space to keep track of our projects around Navi Mumbai. Vashi is always moving, and being up on the 12th floor gives us a bit of a view, though we’re usually too busy to look out the window. We spend most of our time dealing with contractors and checking on material deliveries. There are always people coming in and out, so it stays pretty active. We try to keep things simple. If a problem comes up at a site, we talk about it here and find a way to fix it. It’s not a fancy setup despite being in a tower. We’ve got desks, computers, and a lot of coffee cups. Navi Mumbai is growing fast, so there is always something new to work on. We handle the technical side of things and make sure the schedules are being followed as best as they can be. Sometimes things get delayed, but we just push through and try again tomorrow. It’s a lot of coordination. Everyone in the office has their own specialty, whether it’s numbers or engineering. We’ve been here a while and know the local area well. It's just a place where work gets done every single day. We don't have time for anything that isn't practical.
