We are over at 2/33 Madina Mansion on G.K. Road. If you know Mumbai, you know how hectic this area gets. Our office here at Shapoorji Pallonji & Co. Ltd. is pretty straightforward. There are no marble floors or anything like that. Just desks, computers, and a lot of maps and site plans pinned to the walls. We spend most of our time talking to site managers or checking on materials. It’s a bit crowded sometimes because we have a lot of stuff going on at once. You might see some of us grabbing a quick lunch at the corner stall or just rushing back from a site visit. We have been in this spot for a good while now. It feels like home to us, even with all the noise from the street. We don’t really do big announcements. We just show up every morning and get through the list of tasks. Sometimes the internet is slow or the tea runs out, but we manage. People around here know us by name. It’s a local operation even if the work we do is big. We try to keep things simple and honest. No one here is trying to impress anyone with big words. We just want the buildings to stand up and the clients to be okay with the progress. It is just a regular office full of people working hard and trying to keep everything on schedule.
