Shapoorji Pallonji & Co Ltd

Our Navi Mumbai office is in Sector 25, Juhi Nagar. We are based in building D15/1/6. It is a typical office for this part of the city, nothing too special to look at from the outside. Inside, it’s all about the work we do for Shapoorji Pallonji & Co Ltd. We have a lot of computers and printers that seem to always be running out of ink. The area around Juhi Nagar is always moving, and we try to keep up with that pace. We don't have a fancy coffee machine, just a kettle and some tea bags. Most of our staff have been in the construction business for years, so they know their stuff. We spend a lot of time on the phone with sites all over Mumbai. The traffic outside can be a nightmare, so we often stay a bit later to let it clear out. Our office isn't decorated with anything but old project photos and some safety posters. We don't try to sound like a big corporation when we talk. We use plain English and just get straight to the point. It’s about managing the materials and the people to make sure things happen correctly. There is a lot of noise and dust, but that is part of being in this industry. We just show up every day and do what is on the schedule. It is hard work, but we are used to it by now.
