Shanti Plastics

Mittal Tower is a very tall building, and we are located in 95A. Nariman Point is always crowded, so getting to the office usually involves a bit of a walk from the station. Shanti Plastics is just us in a small room with some samples sitting on the metal shelves. It is mostly plastic parts and things people need for manufacturing. We have a couple of chairs for visitors, but mostly it is just our desks and some files. The view from the window is okay if you like looking at other office buildings. I have worked here for a long time now. The elevators are always incredibly slow in the morning when everyone is in a rush. We take most of our orders over the phone. Sometimes a client comes by to see a specific mold or a type of plastic material. We aren’t a huge factory or anything, just the office side of the business. It is quiet enough most days, except when the phone won't stop ringing. We usually eat lunch at our desks or go downstairs if it isn't too hot outside. There is a guy who brings around sandwiches every day. Plastic is a bit of a weird business to be in, but it pays the bills for us. We don't do anything flashy. We just make sure the right bits get to the right people on time. The lights flicker sometimes, but we just ignore it. It’s okay.
