Shanti Gold

We’re located over at 64, Apollo Industrial Premises, right off Mahakali Caves Road in Andheri East. It’s an industrial area, so there’s always trucks moving around and people rushing to get to their units. Shanti Gold is just one of those places where we get to work early and stay late. The building itself has seen better days, but inside we’ve got our setup exactly how we need it. It’s mostly about the daily grind here. We spend a lot of time checking weights and making sure the metal is handled right. It’s not like a retail shop where you have big windows and lights. It’s more of a workspace. The tea stall downstairs is where we usually end up talking about the day's work. It’s noisy because of the traffic on the main road, but you get used to it after a week or two. Most of the people who come by are regulars or other business owners from the same block. We don't spend much time on fancy talk or decorating the office. It’s about getting the orders done and making sure the gold is accounted for. Some days are slower than others, which gives us time to fix things around the shop. It’s just a normal place in a busy part of Mumbai where we keep our heads down and work. We don't need anything more than our tools and a bit of focus to keep things going.
