Shailesh Shah Architect

Our office is located at 109-B on LBS Marg. Even though the address says Ghatkopar East, we are right there by the edge near Ghatkopar West too. It is a very busy part of town, so there is always something going on outside our windows. Shailesh has been an architect for a long time, and the rest of the staff handles the day-to-day drafting and site visits. We have a lot of cupboards filled with old project files and heaps of tile samples that we really should organize better. The workspace is a bit lived-in, with sketches pinned to the walls and half-empty cups of tea everywhere. We do not try to look like one of those high-end firms you see in magazines. We are just a local business trying to help people get their buildings right. We spend plenty of time checking local regulations and making sure our plans actually meet the requirements. It is a lot of paperwork sometimes, but it is part of the job. Most of our clients are just regular people from around Ghatkopar who want to build a house or renovate an old office. We like the variety of the work. One day we might be drawing a tiny shop front, and the next we are working on a larger apartment block. It keeps us busy and the days go by pretty fast.
