You can find SG GLOBAL IMPEX PVT. LTD. up on the fourth floor of Unique Tower. We’re in office number 401. The building is just off S.V. Road in Goregaon West, so it’s right in the middle of everything. It can be a real struggle to find a spot for the car sometimes, but the location is convenient for most other things. We deal with import and export stuff, which basically means we spend half our lives on the phone or tracking shipments on the computer. It’s a lot of waiting for people in different time zones to wake up and reply. Our office is pretty basic. We have some posters on the walls that have been there since we moved in, and the carpet is starting to show its age. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a lobby or a receptionist. If you come by, you’ll probably just see us hunched over our laptops. We eat lunch at our desks most days because things get busy. It’s a small team, and we’ve all been working together for a long time. We know each other’s habits and how we like our coffee. We don’t have any grand statements to make. We just try to get the containers moved and the paperwork filed without too many headaches. It’s a lot of logistical puzzles, and some days we solve them better than others. That’s just life in Goregaon for us.
