Setelite Products is based in 151, SHANTI INDUSTRIAL ESTATE, S.N. ROAD, MULUND (W). Being in an industrial estate means we have neighbors on all sides, and there’s always someone moving something in the hallways. Our unit isn't huge, so we have to be very careful about how we use the space. We’ve got shelves stacked all the way to the ceiling with parts and finished products. It’s a bit of a maze sometimes, but we know where everything is. Mulund is a busy area, and S.N. Road always has something going on. We keep a small radio playing in the background to break the silence while we work. The atmosphere is pretty relaxed; we don't wear suits or have formal meetings. If something needs fixing, we just grab the tools and do it. We handle the shipping ourselves, so you might see us carrying boxes down to the loading area in the afternoon. It’s a hands-on type of business. We’ve spent a lot of time getting the layout of the workshop just right for our workflow. There isn't any fancy decor, just functional tables and lots of storage bins. We focus on getting the orders out and keeping the machines running smoothly. The elevator in the industrial estate is often slow, so we end up taking the stairs more than we’d like. We have a whiteboard near the door where we scribble down notes and reminders so we don’t forget the small stuff.
