You can find Sensograph Techniques at the Steel Centre Gr.Flr. Sant Tukaram Rd. It’s a busy street, and being on the ground floor makes it easy to move things in and out. The building itself is old, but it serves its purpose for what we do. We have a lot of tools and parts scattered around because we’re usually in the middle of a project. It’s not the quietest spot, especially with the traffic outside, but we’re used to it. The team here is small, and we mostly talk across the room instead of using emails. Sometimes it gets a bit cramped when a large shipment arrives, but we manage to find space. We started out with just a few benches and have slowly added more over the years. We don’t bother with fancy signs or bright lights. Most people find us because they know the Sant Tukaram Road area well. There’s a certain routine to our days, starting with checking the messages and then getting straight to the worktables. We keep our own hours sometimes, staying late if a job needs more time. It’s a practical environment where the focus is on the hardware and making sure everything functions correctly before it leaves the shop. The light coming in from the street helps during the day, though we have plenty of lamps for the detailed work. We’ve got a collection of old manuals on a shelf that we still refer to when things get tricky.
