Senior Sales Officer

Working in Mumbai as a senior sales officer means you are always in a rush. Our office is in Amrut Nagar, which is in Ghatkopar West. It’s a busy neighborhood. If you know Mumbai, you know how Ghatkopar can get, especially during the rains or the evening rush. Amrut Nagar has its own vibe. I spend most of my time coordinating with the team and trying to hit the numbers for the month. My desk is usually covered in sticky notes and old coffee mugs. It’s not a polished corporate office. It’s a functional space where we get the real work done. I take the train like everyone else and walk the rest of the way. Being a senior officer gives me a bit more to worry about, but I like the challenge. I meet all kinds of characters in Ghatkopar. Some are just looking around, and some are serious about buying. I don't use a lot of fancy words when I talk to them. I just tell them what we have and how much it costs. The office in Amrut Nagar is small but we make it work. It’s noisy outside with the honking and the people, but inside we just focus on the sales. It’s a typical Mumbai life, really. You work hard and you hope the traffic isn't too bad on the way home. That is how we spend our days here.
