Frigmaires International

We are right in the middle of things over at the Janata Industrial Estate on Senapati Bapat Marg. It’s funny because we are right opposite the big Phoenix Mill mall, which is always so shiny and crowded. Our unit, number 8 in the Lower section, is a bit different. Frigmaires International is a working space, not a shopping destination. It’s usually quite loud with the sound of machinery and the traffic outside on the main road. The office is tucked away in the back of the industrial unit. We’ve got stacks of files and various machine parts sitting around most of the time. It’s not the most organized place, but we know where everything is. We don’t have a receptionist or a lobby with magazines. If you come by, one of us will just look up from our desk or the workshop floor to see what you need. Most of the people working here have been through the thick and thin of it for years. We handle all sorts of industrial equipment projects for different people. It gets pretty sweaty in the summer, but we keep the fans going and just get on with it. We don’t go for flashy logos or big slogans. We’re just here to build things and get them shipped out to whoever needs them. It’s a busy, noisy, real kind of life for us and we just keep pushing through every day.
