Our office is located in Mulund, Mumbai, over at the Neptune Colourscape building on D.D. Upadhyay Marg. We are in unit 704 of the Crimson wing. Even though the name mentions the UAE, this is where we handle the Indian side of things. Mulund is a busy suburb, and the commute can be quite long depending on where everyone is coming from. The building itself is a modern commercial complex, which is a bit different from the smaller shops around here. We spend our days dealing with glass industry requirements, mostly coordinating between different suppliers and the main operations. It is a lot of logistics and technical talk about glass specifications. The office has a few desks and a lot of samples of different types of glass lying around. We are not a massive team, just a few people making sure the orders are correct and the shipping dates are met. It can get a bit stressful when a big shipment is delayed at the port, but that is part of the job in Mumbai. We usually grab lunch from one of the local spots nearby or eat at our desks if it is a busy day. It is a professional enough environment, but we keep it pretty relaxed among ourselves. We are just trying to do a solid job and keep the business running smoothly from this side of the ocean.
