We’re over at Dipti Classic, suite B/502, right near the Gurunanak Petrol Pump on Suren Road. Sd Cargo Pvt Ltd has been in Andheri East for quite a stretch now. It’s a convenient spot, especially being so close to the petrol pump—everyone knows it. The office is a bit small, but it’s cozy and we have everything we need. Most of our days are spent on the phone or typing away at emails. Cargo is a lot of waiting and then a lot of rushing all at once. We don't have a big marketing department or anyone to write fancy speeches for us. We’re just a bunch of people who know how to move freight from one place to another. Sometimes the monsoon rains make the commute to Suren Road a nightmare, but we still show up. We’ve got a kettle in the corner that’s always on, and that’s about as fancy as it gets here. We don't use big words to describe what we do. We just pick up the cargo and make sure it gets to the destination. If there’s a delay, we call the client and let them know. We’ve found that being honest is better than making up excuses. It’s a busy life in Andheri, but we wouldn’t have it any other way. We’re just a local business trying to do right by the people who hire us, and we keep things moving as smoothly as we can every single day.
