You can find us at 15, Dhannur, right on Sir P.M. Road in the Fort area. If you know Mumbai, you know how packed this part of town gets. The building has that old-school feel to it, which is nice but also means the elevators can be slow when you’re in a hurry. We’ve been operating Schneeberger India from this spot for a while. It’s a lot of paperwork and phone calls, dealing with the technical side of things. The streets outside are always noisy with taxis honking and people rushing to catch trains. We usually have the windows shut to keep the dust out, but you can still feel the energy of the city. Our office is a bit cramped with all the catalogs and samples we keep around, but we know where everything is. It’s a tight-knit group of people working here. We aren't big on meetings that last forever; we’d rather just talk over a desk and get it sorted. Getting deliveries in and out of Fort is always a challenge because of the narrow roads, but we’ve gotten used to it. It’s just how things go in this part of the city. We don't pretend to be anything we aren't. We just show up, do the work, and head home like everyone else. The lunch places around here are good, though, which is a nice bonus.
