Sawariya Enterprises XEROX SERVICES is tucked away at Shop No. 113 inside the Murli Upadhyay Estate. We are right by the Virwani Industrial Estate in Vishweshwar Nagar. Goregaon East is a busy area and it stays loud most of the day. There are always people walking past and trucks moving things in the estate. Inside the shop, it usually smells like warm paper and ink because the machines are running a lot. Sometimes the photocopy machine acts up or the toner runs out right when someone is in a hurry. We just deal with it and get the job done. It is not a very big space, but we have enough room for the counters and the stacks of paper. Most people find us because they are already working nearby in the industrial units. The floor gets a bit dusty from the street outside but we sweep it when we can. It’s just me and a couple of others here most days. We don’t have any fancy decorations on the walls, just the basic stuff needed to run the business. On rainy days, the water drips a bit near the entrance, so we have to watch out for that. We spend a lot of time just waiting for the next customer or organizing the files. It's a normal life here in Goregaon. The rent is okay and we know the neighbors who run the other workshops. We close up around eight and head home.
