Saurashtra Cement Limited

You can find us in Regency Tower, right in the D/102 unit. We’re in Vastrapur, Ahmedabad, opposite the Satellite Center and just behind Management Enclave. It’s a good spot because there’s plenty of life and food around here. The Saurashtra Cement Limited office is a bit of a hub for our local coordination. We have big windows that look out over the street, though we mostly keep the blinds shut because of the afternoon glare. The office itself is full of papers, binders, and the occasional sample of clinker or cement powder. It’s a working office, not a showpiece for visitors. We spend our time on the phone with sites or coordinating with the main office. There’s a lot of back-and-forth communication throughout the week. The building is usually pretty busy, and we’re on friendly terms with the folks next door. We don't have a lot of rules about how things look, as long as the work gets done and the customers are happy with their orders. Sometimes the tea lady comes around, and that’s usually the best part of the afternoon for everyone. We like being in this part of Ahmedabad because everything is close by. It’s a practical place to be for a cement company. We just keep our heads down, stay on top of the orders, and try to keep things organized in our own way.
