Satyam Telecom

We’re set up at Satyam Telecom in the Janardan Building on Proctor Road, right in the Grant Road area. We are in the section numbered 48-50. It’s a small shop, but we pack a lot into it. We mostly sell mobile phones, chargers, and those little things like screen protectors that everyone seems to need these days. We also help people with their recharges and sim card issues when they get stuck. It gets pretty crowded in here during the evenings when people are heading home from the station. We’ve been at this location for a good while, so we know most of the people who walk past our door every day. It’s a lot of sitting behind the counter and talking to customers about which phone has a better battery or which data plan is cheaper. We don’t have a big corporate setup or anything like that. It’s just a local shop where you can get your phone fixed or buy a new cable if yours finally frayed. Sometimes we have to send a phone out for bigger repairs that we can't do here, but we try to do what we can right at the counter. The Grant Road area is always moving and loud, and we just try to keep up with the pace. We aren't trying to sell you the most expensive thing in the store, just whatever works for what you need. It’s a simple business, and we really like the daily routine of seeing the neighborhood people and helping them out with their gadgets.
