Satishchandra & Sons Exim Llp is based out of Cuffe Parade in Mumbai. Our office is on the 1st floor, Flat No 3, in the Sea Lord B Building. Being in such a well-known part of the city is nice, but at the end of the day, it’s still just where we work. We focus on the import and export business, which in a place like Mumbai, means we are always dealing with the hustle and bustle of the ports and the city’s pace. We are a family-oriented setup, as the name suggests. It’s not a high-pressure corporate environment. We just come in, check the messages, and get to work on whatever shipments are pending. Dealing with the customs and the local transport can be tricky, but we’ve been doing this long enough to know the ropes. We don't go for flashy advertising or try to sound bigger than we are. We are just a small team handling the daily requirements of international trade. Sometimes the paperwork is a mountain, and other times we are just waiting for a ship to dock. We like the Sea Lord building; it’s a solid place to be. We aren't making any grand claims about being the best. We just do the work, try to avoid mistakes, and keep things moving forward. It’s a steady life and it keeps us busy enough without needing to be anything more than what we are.
