Our place is in Bhandup West, specifically inside Sharda Apartments at B.B/18. It is one of those older residential buildings that has a lot of character, even if the stairs are a bit narrow. Working out of an apartment building means we see the neighbors going about their lives while we’re trying to get through our emails. It’s a bit of a walk from the station, but it’s a good way to wake up in the morning. The office is pretty small, and we’ve had to get creative with how we store everything. There are books and folders on almost every shelf. It’s not the most modern setup you’ll ever see, but it works for us. Satish is usually around, unless he’s out running errands or meeting someone across town. We don’t really have a big staff, so things stay pretty quiet most of the time. Sometimes we forget to order more pens or the water delivery is late, but we manage. People from the neighborhood often stop by just to say hello or ask a quick question. We don’t have any slick brochures or a professional receptionist greeting people at the door. You just walk in and we see what you need. It’s been our home base for a long time, and we’re quite comfortable here despite the limited space. We just try to keep things simple and get through the daily pile of work.
