Satish Parikh Maternity Gynac General Hospital

We’ve been running this hospital here at 12 Tulsi Gulmohar in the Sbi Society for a good number of years now. It’s a quiet part of Borivali West mostly, though things get busy around the Tathwade area during the day. We handle a bit of everything here, from when a new baby is coming into the world to just regular health problems that people in the neighborhood walk in with. It’s not a huge, fancy place with glass walls or anything like that. It’s more of a local spot where people know our names and we know theirs. Sometimes the waiting room gets a bit crowded on Monday mornings, but that’s just how it goes when everyone wants to see the doctor at once. We’ve seen many families grow up around here, and now some of those kids are bringing their own kids back to us. It makes the day feel worth it when you see familiar faces. The building itself is easy to find once you are in the society. We try to keep things simple and just focus on the work at hand. Most of our staff lives nearby, so we all feel like neighbors anyway. There’s always someone coming in for a checkup or asking for advice on something small. It's just a regular hospital doing its thing every day. We don't have much for fancy decorations, just the stuff we need to get the job done right.
