You can find us at D/216 in the Ghatkopar Industrial Estate. It’s right off L.B.S. Marg in Ghatkopar West. Being in an industrial estate means there is always the sound of machinery and trucks moving around. Saroj Photo Albums has been here for years. The walls of our unit are covered in old samples and notes from past projects. It’s a bit of a lived-in space. We have some heavy equipment that’s been with us since the start. It requires a bit of maintenance now and then, but it gets the job done. The air is always a bit thick with the smell of paper and glue. Some people might find it overwhelming, but to us, it’s just the smell of work. We aren't a high-tech startup with bean bags and free snacks. We have some old stools and a sturdy table where we do most of the assembly. The workers here have been around for a long time. We’re more like a small family than a bunch of employees. We eat lunch together and complain about the heat. L.B.S. Marg is always a mess with traffic, so we try to avoid leaving during peak hours. We just focus on the orders we have and try to get them finished on time. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy. We don't need much more than that. The afternoon sun hits the window just right.
