Saregama India Limited

Our office is up on the 5th floor of Valecha Chambers. We have been here on New Link Road for quite a while now. Oshiwara is a busy part of Andheri West, so there is always a lot of noise and movement outside our windows. Saregama India Limited is the name on the door, and most people around here know us because of the music. We have a huge history with songs and films, but inside these walls, it’s mostly just us sitting at desks and handling the daily business. It isn't a fancy, high-tech setup like you see in movies. It’s more of a practical place with files, computers, and people drinking tea while they work. The traffic on New Link Road can be a nightmare in the evenings, but we are used to it by now. We spend our days managing rights and dealing with all the old and new tracks. It’s a lot of coordination. The Valecha Chambers building itself is a bit older, and the elevators can be slow when everyone is trying to get to lunch. We don’t have a flashy lobby or anything. We just focus on the work we have to do. It’s a long-standing business, and we are just the current people keeping it running. We like being in this part of Mumbai because everything you need is right here. It’s just a regular workplace where we happen to deal with some very famous music.
