We share the same address at 29 Abhechand Gandhi Marg in Masjid Bunder (W). Sarda Papers Ltd. is based right here. Like everything else in this neighborhood, things move fast and it can get pretty crowded. Our office is a straightforward place for the paper business. We don’t have any polished floors or modern art on the walls. It’s just shelves full of paper samples and ledgers. We spend most of our time on the phone or checking inventory. Masjid Bunder is the kind of place where you have to be practical to survive, and our office reflects that. It is a bit cramped, especially when we get new stock in, but we make it work. We aren't here to impress people with how the office looks; we are here to handle the paper trade. The building has that old Mumbai feel to it, where everyone knows their neighbors. We’ve seen the street change a lot over the years, but our routine stays mostly the same. We come in, check the orders, and make sure the paper gets to where it needs to go. It’s a simple, honest way to run a business. Nothing too flashy, just hard work and a lot of paper. We have stacks of it reaching the ceiling in some corners and the sound of the market outside.
