Saraf Impex

Our office is room 304 in the Madhava building. We are right in the Bandra-Kurla Complex in Bandra East. It’s a very busy commercial area, so there are always people in suits walking around and lots of traffic. Saraf Impex is just one of the many offices in this big building. We have a modest space on the third floor. It’s filled with files, a couple of computers, and some samples of the things we trade. It’s not the most exciting place to look at, but it’s where we get everything done. We spend a lot of time dealing with customs papers and shipping schedules. The elevators in Madhava can be a bit slow during lunch hour, so we’ve learned to be patient. We don't have a flashy reception area or anything like that. Just a door with our name on it. It’s a practical environment. We don't really do much in terms of marketing ourselves. Most of our contacts come through long-standing relationships. Being in BKC is convenient for business, even if it is a bit crowded. We just come in every morning, have our tea, and start on the day's work. It’s a straightforward way to earn a living.
