Bohara Jewellery Art

Our workshop is located in the Fabricon Industrial Estate, Unit M007. We’re tucked away near the Khira Industrial Estate, just off S. V. Road in Santacruz West. It’s a bit of a walk from the main road, but we like it back here. The estate is old and the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but it’s where we do all our jewelry work. Inside, it’s a different world from the dusty street. We have small benches with bright lights where we sit and work on fine pieces. It’s quiet work, mostly, except for the occasional sound of a small hammer or a polishing wheel. We’ve been making jewelry for a long time, and our hands show it. It’s not like those fancy showrooms you see in the mall. This is where the actual making happens. We have trays of stones and bits of metal scattered around, waiting to be turned into something. People usually come to us when they want something specific made or repaired. We don’t have a big sign outside, so most people find us by word of mouth or by looking for B. B Road. It’s a cramped space, honestly, with tools everywhere, but it works for us. We just focus on the piece in front of us and try to get the details right before the sun goes down. Most days we are too busy to notice the time.
