Sankalp Trading Company

We are located in Andheri West, right at the Chandraprabha Society near Irla Bridge. Being on S.V. Road means it’s always busy outside. Sankalp Trading Company has been in this unit, No. 103/A, for quite some time now. The building is an older one, but it suits us just fine. We deal with various trading items throughout the week. The space is filled with samples and ledgers. It gets a bit crowded when we have a lot of stock coming in at once. We don't have air conditioning in the main storage area, so it can get quite warm in the summer months. We just open the windows and keep moving. There are three of us here most days. We handle everything from taking orders on the phone to packing them up for the courier. It’s a lot of manual work and checking lists. Sometimes we make mistakes with the paperwork and have to do it all over again. That’s just life in a small office. We know the tea seller downstairs very well; he brings us cutting chai twice a day. The location is good because we are close to everything in Andheri, even if the traffic is a nightmare. We don't try to be anything we aren't. We just trade goods and keep our records as best as we can in this busy part of the city. We often spend our Saturdays catching up on cleaning and organizing the shelves.
