Sanjivini Steel Center

Out here in Kumbharwada, things are always moving. We are located at 113/117 on Hill Road, which is right near the Goal Deol temple. You can usually hear the temple bells throughout the day, which is a nice background to the sound of metal being moved around. The area is famous for its workshops and small factories, and our steel center fits right in. It’s a dusty, noisy place, but that’s just the nature of the business. We have stacks of steel everywhere, and it’s a constant job of moving things to make room for new deliveries. The office part is just a small corner with a desk and some old ledgers. It’s not a place for fancy clothes; we’re usually covered in a bit of grime by noon. We get a lot of trucks coming in and out, so there’s always someone shouting directions or checking a manifest. It’s hard work, and the heat in the summer can be pretty intense under the metal roof. We usually take our breaks together and share some tea from the shop down the street. It’s a very local way of doing things, based on handshakes and knowing the people who have been in this trade for years. We don't have any big marketing plans, we just open the gates every morning and get the steel ready for whoever needs it that day.
