Samsonite South Asia Pvt. Ltd. is located in Andheri East, specifically at 401/B in the Elegant Business Park. It’s right on MIDC Cross Road 'B'. If you’ve ever been to this part of Mumbai, you know how busy it gets with all the companies packed together. The business park is actually quite decent, but the commute through the Andheri traffic is always a struggle. Inside, it’s just a regular office setup. We have desks, some meeting rooms, and samples of the bags and luggage we handle. There’s usually a bit of a hum from the air conditioning and the sound of people typing. We spend our days looking at spreadsheets and coordinating with the warehouse or other branches. It’s a corporate building, but the atmosphere in our specific corner is pretty relaxed. We aren't big on formalities when it’s just us working through the daily tasks. Sometimes we get lunch delivered or walk out to the local stalls if we have enough time. The security guards at the gate know us by now. It’s a lot of routine work, checking emails and making sure the shipments are on track. Even though it's a big name, the actual day-to-day feel is just like any other busy office. We leave late most evenings once the traffic starts to die down a bit. It is just another part of the Mumbai grind.
