Our place is located at 303 on the 3rd floor of the Suyash building. It’s on Hanuman Gali, which is just off Sahar Road in the Koldongri area of Andheri. It’s a very tight neighborhood with narrow streets. Getting a vehicle through some of these lanes is a challenge every single day. Samrat Remedies Ltd has been operating from here for a good while. We mostly deal with pharmaceutical products and various remedies. The office is usually stacked with boxes and files that need to be sorted. It’s not the most organized looking place, but we know where everything is kept. There’s a lot of coming and going with delivery people and suppliers all through the afternoon. Andheri is always loud, so we have to talk over the traffic noise sometimes when the windows are open. We’re just regular people trying to run a business in a very busy part of Mumbai. We don't have a big corporate lobby or a receptionist. You just walk up the stairs and you’re there at our door. We focus on getting the right products to the people who need them. Sometimes we have to stay late to finish up the inventory counts or check the labels. We don’t really have a social media presence or anything like that. We just rely on our reputation in the local trade. It’s a bit old-fashioned, but it works for us. We try to be helpful when someone calls with a question about an order. It’s just us doing our thing every day.
