We have been here at Umar Niwas for a while now. It is just a regular office setup in Mumbai, specifically in the 400078 area code. Samir handles most of the day-to-day things around here. It is not a very big place, just 1/3 Umar Niwas, but it gets the job done for us. Most days start early because Mumbai is always moving and if you don't keep up, you get left behind. We don't have fancy furniture or anything like that. Just some desks, chairs, and a lot of paperwork that never seems to end. People stop by sometimes to talk about projects or just to settle accounts. It gets a bit noisy outside because of the traffic, but we are used to it by now. The neighborhood knows us. We aren't trying to change the world or anything, just doing our work and going home at the end of the day. Sometimes the internet acts up, or the tea guy is late, but that is just how it goes. We handle whatever comes our way. If you are looking for us, we are right there in the building, tucked away. We’ve seen the streets change over the years. We just keep our heads down and stay busy with the files and the phone calls. It is a simple operation. Nothing more, nothing less. Just a local spot where things get handled.
