Bandra West is always crowded, and our spot is right by the Mount Mary steps. You know how those steps get during the feast. It is a bit of a walk up if you aren't used to it. The office itself is in B-10. It is not a huge place, just enough room for the desks and a couple of chairs for people who drop in. Most days it is just us handling the usual paperwork and taking calls. Sometimes the sea breeze reaches us if the window is open, but usually, it is just the sound of the traffic and people talking outside. We have been at this address for a good while now. It is a familiar place for anyone in the neighborhood. You might miss the entrance if you are looking too hard for a big sign. It is just a normal door. We keep things pretty simple here. There is a tea stall nearby that everyone uses. Most mornings start with someone bringing in a tray of cups. It is not anything fancy, just a workspace where we get the day's tasks sorted out. If you come by, you will probably see a few files stacked up and the computer humming. It gets the job done. We do not really do much in the way of decorating. It is just a practical office in a busy part of Mumbai. That is about all there is to it, really.
