Saleema Tailor Embroidary

You can find our shop at Shop Number 2 in the Adarsh Cooperative building. We are right on the Jogeshwari West Main Road, so it is always very loud outside with all the traffic. We have been doing tailoring and embroidery work here for years. The shop is filled with stacks of different fabrics and rolls of colorful thread. We have a couple of sewing machines that are almost always running, making that clicking sound all day long. We do everything from basic stitching to more detailed embroidery designs on suits and dresses. Most of our customers are women from the local neighborhood who bring in their own cloth and tell us how they want it made. We don't have any fancy catalogs to look at, usually people just show us a picture on their phone of a design they like. My hands are often covered in thread and I always have a measuring tape around my neck. The shop is quite small and it gets a bit crowded when we have a lot of orders piled up waiting to be picked up. We don't have a big sign or any advertisements. People just know us because we have been on this road for so long. We stay open late because that is when most people have time to come by after they finish their work. It is just a small place where we work with our hands.
